How to be a Successful Missionary
1. Whatever you do - do it in Faith!
2. Your vision needs to be God birthed and so BIG that you can never get it done without Him! It will take you, Heaven (God's power) and earth (the church and non church resources) to make it happen. Do you have this in written form?
3. You must be called to the right PLACE - God's man in God's place!
4. You must be able to share your vision this with conviction and compassion. You are not a beggar! You are God's man, serving in God's place, needing resources for God's work. The work is God's - not yours!
5. Are you a member of a local church? You need to be. You need a Pastor at home in the states. You need to be accountable. You need counsel.
6. Are you a part of a minister's fellowship?
7. You can be part of more than one fellowship or organization. Each one represents different churches, etc. The key is building relationships with many people - NETWORKING!
8. It is best when you first start out that you are under a Pastor or ministry leader on the field. They can coach you and help you succeed as you gain field ministry experience.
